                           If you get #NAME error, then install Analysis ToolPak

 

To install “Analysis Toolpak” do as follows :

 

1. Open the salary calculator with your version of EXCEL

2, Go to  Tools –> Add-Ins…

3.In the ‘Add-Ins‘ window  check the box related to ‘Analysys ToolPak‘

4. Click OK 

      

 

(II) Clarification on rounding-off method : (According to G.O. No. 2014-F dt. 9.3.2009) : For calculating the increment( 3%) …….If the fraction is less than Re. 1 then omit it, else if  the fraction is Re. 1 or greater than Re. 1 then add Re. 10 instead of the fraction.

e.g.  suppose u got 830.70 ( as 1.86 multiple or as 3% ) then u have to take it 830 for further calculation. On another case if u get 831.40 then u have to take it 840 for further calculation.
